How can I propogate this? The PD says "grafting." I don't know how to do that.

I rooted one in water, even though I was later told it shouldn't have worked. :-)
If I remember correctly, the top part of the plant grows huge. The root stock is used to keep it smaller. I believe it is possible to root parts of the top but you are not going to get the same small shrub you would have if it were grafted.
Upon a bit of quick research-the uppermost part is the part with the contorted branches. The part used for the graft can send out uncurled suckers which can over take your contorted part.
