Was just going back over this old thread, enjoying all the birdy vocabulary discussion, and noticing I seldom run into some of my favorite DG posters on this thread any more! Miss you!

Also noticed that 'kennedyh' admitted going snipe hunting in the post just above, but he doesn't say what girl was with him!!

Thursday, January 31st I caught 18 robins sitting in a tree at Morris Arboretum, hope that means early spring.

Actually they flew up there when I was walking by. They were feeding on Ilex berries.
