Speed Sprout, anyone used this?

(Zone 4a)

Has anyone used Speed Sprout for germinating
difficult seeds?

If so, can you use the package mix more than once?

Thank you.

I use a 'sprouter', such as used for bean sprouter - works every time!

Here is an image of the ones I have (2) - I bought them at a thrift store for less than a dollar each.

Yes, Jody C., it is Speed Sprout.

That package is 4" x 6", with the gel, Polyacrylamide
(whatever that is) showing on the back side.

An opening on the back allows you to insert the seeds
and mix with the 'gel'.

It is advised to use the substance only once for fear of
bateria transfer. I think maybe I will dump it in a sterile
jar and use from there.

I bought the Speed Sprout online at the MegaGro site.

T & T Seeds that is a Manitoba company sells "Speed Sprout". I want to buy some this weekend to try it. They sell it for $2.75 or 2 or more $2.50 each Cdn.
