Yumiko- that's sounds really good.
CDN RU part 5
Sounds wonderful Yumiko.
I can hardly wait Yumiko!! Ü
I also love Chinese.
Thanks.
I am glad that you can eat sushi.
Because I have to cook before I leave, I will not use raw fish.
I love Chinese too.
If I have time, I make one Chinese dish. maybe..
Guess what!
I saw rhododendron were blooming today.
Spring is just around the corner.
Rhododendrons on the Island are blooming....you are lucky duckies. I think we'll have a few more weeks before that happens here. Enjoy!
a few more months here!!!
Wow, lots of them are blooming in Tofino.
Definetely it is warmer there.
How is Campbell river?
Just *a few* Lynn??? ;)
Yumiko, we've had quite warm weather, there are some rhoddies blooming. There's a touch of frost last night, then it's supposed to get warm again. We didn't get any of the snow that you got down island this winter. It's been very mild. Had about 2 weeks of freezing temps in January, but it was very sunny. I think winter's over.
don't rub it in. winter just returned yesterday - from +9 to -18 and from bare roads to 4 inches of snow. but at least it isn't blowing.
What a drag Lynn. My sister phoned this morning and said they had a blizzard. It was frosty here this morning. I wouldn't count winter being done quite yet.
We have an early pink rhodo that's just about to start blooming. Some of the crocuses have started blooming. We have a ton of them so it should look pretty colourful in the yard in a couple of weeks.
-30F here (blowing windchill included)
you BC'ers are soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo spoooooooooooooooooooiled! :b
Show some more pics of your flowers to us poor peeps in the deep freeze zone!
Love every one of them but must admit there's something very special about seeing a Jasmine blooming outside at this time of year (in Canada to boot)!!

Ginny, if I had a chance to live in Victoria, I would jump at it. Any one of the three complexes would be great, but I am partial to "the cottages". Go for it. Go on the waiting list. The icing on the cake would be that you'd be your Grandbaby's caregiver. :D
Lovely pictures of the coast Sandy.......I'd forgotten what water looks like when it's not frozen. ;)
LOL......you'll get to see lots of unfrozen water pretty soon now Pam. The RUs getting closer and closer.
Ginny, you'd miss the ice and snow again. The complex looks nice but you wouldn't be able to garden much. I think patio homes are the way to go.
I'm going to be a senior when I reach 55?
Dave's gone back to a logo similar to the orginal one: http://davesgarden.com/forums/t/483765/
Yes, and it was so very nice of him to let us know when told of our plans for the Tote. Well, it would have been so very nice to have heard from him at all.
Pardon my ignorance but what does LOL mean?
Also if you go to tourismvictoria.ca and click on the garden links you will find it very informative.
Also ditto hellobc.ca.

Cheers, Solomon.
LOL is an acronym for "laughing out loud" Solomon.
The following link lists many of the acronyms used here as well as many emoticoms:

Hello, ladies..........I just purchased a Bread Machine,...having fun with it! Can bring the breads for us! I'm signing up! E
Sorry, I think I played a big part in getting things sidetracked here. Maybe it would be easier if people copied this list, then pasted, added what they're bringing and posted it again. That way they can make sure what they're bringing goes in the right spot.

Appetizers to be announced JagonJune (Lynn) great wine, lovely tea, and some sort of dessert
I could also bring 17 Harden & Huyse chocolates. :)
hmm... Wonder how many you'll have left by April.
Ginny laughing
They'd last 2 days max, around me. :-)
They wouldn't last the trip back to the house with me, but we've got Rogers choc, Purdy's choc and Bernard Calibaux (sp) to pick from. And the Dutch Bakery that's been around for >40 years.
Hmmmm, I think I was going to try and diet before you got here.... shucks.
Linda, in very frosty Victoria this morning
Oh, the Dutch Bakery...I forgot about that one. Is it on Fort St? We used to stop there all the time....mmmm.....
