I recently received some Lithop seeds in the mail. But I have no idea of what to do with them. I have seen all the talk about sowing seeds, and putting them in a solution, or peeling them, etc. I do not understand what all of this means. What do I need to do to sow my Lithop seeds? Do I use any particular medium or is Cacti/Succulet soil the best? Thank you for your help.

How to sew Lithop seeds
I tried them one year, and was quite sceptical, as the seeds were SO tiny, and there were only a couple of them in the packet. They were from Thompson & Morgan and they stated on the packet that germination took skill! lol...
I followed their directions, (which you can probably get online if you look lithops up on their online catalog), and do as they say. If I remember correctly, I just made a succulent mix, and then topped with a thin layer of pure sand on top. I surface sowed the seeds, and believe it , or not, little teeny tiny guys started popping up in about three weeks! It was fun!
