If anyone has had success at propagating Bougainvillea, please tell me how!!!
Bougainvillea Propagation - Anyone know method???
I did this very successfully in South Africa a few years ago - it's classified as a "mediterranean" climate, similar to California, so boug's can overwinter very easily and they get huge. I took lots of pencil size cuttings, stripped the leaves off, stuck the ends in rooting hormone and then into the ground - no other preparation at all. Nearly all of them took and in a year or two my entire garden wall was thick with flowers all summer. I don't think boug's are hardy in zone 7b (where I am now) so I haven't tried them here - I guess you could try and propagate and overwinter inside.

Thank you so very much!!!
