Have you used Sphagnum or peat moss for air layering ?
Which do you think is best ?
I have seen both suggested for this process.
TIA
Air Layering
Hi scooterbug:
All I can attest to is sphagnum, which I used mid 1960s for layering Fatsia japonica. No money, shady back yard. Very successful with good root formation. Husband hated Fatsia, I found and also my Aucuba. I have not repeated the process but soon may on a gangly looking Dracaena. I used plastic bags and elastic bands. Would not hesitate to try again.
Good Luck
Sounds good to me =)
Thank You Sunrize
