I bought 4 last year and have the 3 colors you have all ready shown this is the other one of mine and was also the shortest of the 4. I think it was only about 8 inches tall when it bloomed.

Beautiful broots! Your Butters and Anita's Crimson would be fabulous together!

Springfield, MA(Zone 6a)

brenda i believe your dwarf oriental lily is 'little rascal'. i can't find the picture of mine right now but it is just 12-18" tall and has these big huge blossoms. mine was blooming before some of my asiatics.

i really like the orange pixie. i was just reading about the candadian gentleman who bred these. he is in manatoba, canada a dr. walker. now i remember that but not the website i was on. LOL

i offered these in my lilium co-op in spring 2003. didn't sell to many of them, but those i did the folks really liked them. i guess those little babies like to reproduce. i have some small yellow and a pink & cream lilies that have reproduced like the crimson pixies. i've divided them already in 4 years time.

ok i'm done for now. lol

I just planted several new Pixie's yesterday......

Lavendel, Painted Pixie, Pink Pixie and Buff Pixie.

The Lily Nook in Canada has several to choose from and I picked up a couple on the Lily Auction as well.

Plano, TX(Zone 8a)

Brenda,
I wish I had seen the pixies on the lily auction! I looked before placing my order but guess I just missed them or maybe you just had to know which ones were pixies. Oh, well, maybe next time.
Terrie

Lenexa, KS(Zone 6a)

Terrie - You ordered from the Lily Nook too??

Plano, TX(Zone 8a)

Brenda, I'm a ditz. I thought you meant the lily co-op, not auction. I looked at the Lily Nook but am put off by their inspection charge plus shipping. It would have been plants plus $25.

Lenexa, KS(Zone 6a)

Terrie - 4 of us split an order from Lily Nook in Canada this year and with the exchange rate at 75¢ to the Canadian dollar we ended up getting a pretty good deal. If we do it again next year I'll let you know.

Plano, TX(Zone 8a)

Would love to, Brenda. Just let me know. Thanks!

Jeani4,
There is a Co-Op FORUM where you will find different co-ops going on from time to time. Great way to get quality plants, etc. at bargain prices.
