I am new here and I would surmise that this topic may well have been covered extensively. I apologize for the repetition.
I have two magnificent rhododendrons and I would like to propagate them if possible. What is the best way? Can someone recommend a book or is that necessary? Can I just root some cuttings?
Thanks,
Rick

You can take semi-ripe (semi-hardwood) cuttings between now and September. Layering is another way too.
Thanks, Rick
There is also a book by the American Horticultural Society on Propogation. Supposed to be an excellent book!
