Can you root Hardy Hibiscus?
I have two pieces that broke off a plant sitting in water. I've taken off all the "bad" leaves and they look as if they are doing well in the water. No sign of roots though and it's been about 10 days.
Rooting Hardy Hibiscus
I trimmed one of my hardy hibiscus and just stuck the stems in a pot with dirt, and they rooted. the pot is sitting on concrete and the concrete stays wet. Several leaves fell during the planting and landed on the concrete. Those leaves that were sitting on the concrete grew roots!!!!! So I picked them up and potted them up too!!!
Wow, I guess they root easily. Maybe I'll take them out of the water and stick them in potting soil.
Thanks for the help.
I've been rooting a piece of my white Disco bell hardy hi. I put in in a pot of peat moss and sand about 4 weeks ago and it now has roots.
