Can these be propagated by stem cuttings? I just bought a couple from Walmart, but one of them is very tall with not much foliage (what do I expect!). I was thinking of cutting the stem and restarting....good idea?
Cordyline Terminalis
Yes you can. I have taken a tall one and cut it into 4 or 5 pieces 3-4 inches long. Dipped in hormone and they all thrived. The plant they are taken off will then bud out. I got four extra buds beneath the cut. Good luck
