Blue Lake pole beans
Nice batch. How did you grow them; on poles or trellis and on how many feet of row?

22 pints from a half bushel, not much wasted in those beans!
Grown on 25 poles, about 2 feet apart. Still got more to pick in a couple of days.
Big Red,looks great what do you have around the beans in the jar I suppose its not only water and what do you use to preserve them? Do you use any herbs?

Roger, just a half teaspoon of salt and water per pint. We use a pressure cooker, process for 20 minutes at 10 pounds pressure.
