Where can I get (edible) alpine strawberries?

Brookeville, MD(Zone 7a)

I have a couple of plants that I bought over ebay last year, anyways, I collected seed last year but gave it away for sase and didn't keep any!

I'd really like to have more plants, does anyone know where I can order some from? Sorry if I'm not allowed to ask this on here, just delete if it's not allowed.

I only have about 6-7 plants... certainly NOT enough to even get a good handful of berries but "Boy are they tasty!"

I got mine from a local nursery (not a chain) last fall for 50 cents each as they looked dreadful and were on the sale table. Wish I had more. Have you tried a Google search?

Yes :( But I have collected seed and I'm growing some now.

I hear seed is the best way to go. I started some from seed this spring, and they've done quite well so far.

I have a nice crop fromseed, since they dont make runners its the only economical way to get them. My local nursery wants $7 a plant.!!! Would take years to grow back the fruit in $7 from one plant.
