Looks like KY agrees with you Red. You appear to be having a ball!
Red -- They are beauties. I can make a delicious stuffed zuchinni with those but for now I'll have to settle for store bought.
Mel, I am! This is my best garden ever, of course the weather has been ideal for gardening and now that I'm retired I have plenty of time to care for it. :o)
Tplant, try these (Black Beauty) the next time you plant, I think you'll like them, very prolific and delish!
Red -- With my climate I think I can still plant them. Only problem is where to find the seed or seedlings?
Johnny's used to sell the seeds...you might try their site.
Tplant, I got mine at Walmart, I believe they were Ferry Morse seeds, of couse all the seeds racks are taken down now.
I wish I had some seeds to share, I looked, but I guess I planted them all. You can order them from Southern Exposure.

Ask the plant department manager at Walmart, they might still be lurking in a box in the warehouse.
Will Do!
