Anahi, that Xia Xiang is beautiful. I didn't know it had an eye.
What's Bloomin II
Sundry, Hail Mary is scrumptious!
I thought I bought a 42nd Street, but both blooms have been single and flat so far. I'm bummed! Wrong plant or wrong weather?
Cherí - Hail Mary is lovely...what a nice deep throat on that one! It almost resembles a trumpet lily.
Well I had 3 new blooming varieties today before I went to work and it poured all day! They are beat to death and miserably spotty looking. I'll try tomorrow for some pics. Bummed in KS too Wanda!
I know why gingerjar doesn't have a town listed in her postings. We all would be there with shovels in hand.
LOL, Jim! I hear ya on that one! I got the flashlight and ski mask!
I have a one ton truck and big trailer so if you figure out where gingerjar or Calif_Sue live we can get going. LOL
I'm gone with you's--I need some new daylilies! LOL
I live in La Plata, Md if that helps. However, be prepared to ward off the deer, because they they think they have as much right to the daylilies as I do. That's one reason I have quite a few, since I have to share with them. By the way, I'm a him not a her.
LOL I was waiting for you to respond. I wasnt gonna say one word about where you are, I was gonna go fight the deer myself. LOL You do have some beautiful flowers.
Sorry about that gingerjar. I've been there and done that myself. I'm a man also.
We're on our way, Gingerjar. As far as deer go I can put them in my freezer so I will bring that along plugged into my portable power plant.
Any one ready to go to the east coast with me? It is time for some plant raids!
Well you learn something new everyday! Guess we have more of the masculine persuasion on this forum than we first thought! LOL!
Pond---stop in KC on the way...I got some big buckets, shovels and flashlights.
Well count me in on the road trip to gingerjars! I love MD - I lived near Frederick for 5 years. Loved it!
I'm beginning to think that none of my daylilies are going to open. Lots O' scapes with lots O' buds....and they sit there taunting me! I've been staring at the same buds for a week!
My sons think I'm a wacko.
I was so mad at myself, I was putting in a new bed and planting everything yesterday, when I was almost finished with my David Kerchoff I broke the whole tip off of one of the scapes. I almost cried. It survived the trip from the MA-RU and being in my front yard in a pot and at the last second "snap". : ( I so wanted to show nminmd that I was taking good care of it.
