First blooms on Chicago Plum Pudding.
I cant wait to see the next set of blooms on this, Im hoping they look nicer. Its was still cool at 10:00 am when I took these pics.

This is Peggy Jeffcoat. It won an award at the AHS meeting last summer. I really liked it then, and now that's confimed with the first bloom in my garden today.
Dravencat, Chicago Plum Pudding--that's the one I was talking about.

Chicago Plum Pudding is very slightly fragrant. I got pollen up my nose to find out. LOL. The color is a bit darker than the pic is showing but it was really sunny, I tried to stand in front of it to shade it but didnt do too well.
Gingerjar - Thanks for the compliment on Bali Hai , that pic showed the true color and it got a little deeper as the day went. I am really happy with that one and it smells great.
I am anxious to see what many of my others will look like, the only thing I dont like is that about 6-7 I purchased as small fans so I wont see anything from them till next year. On a good note about those is they have more than doubled thier size since I got them.
