What's Blooming Now?

Cedar Rapids, IA(Zone 5a)

Wow! Everyday is different as my new babies open up. I've waited 3 seasons for some tiny ones (it's a wonder they made it!). And some are blooming first year! Now, if walker (puppy) will just stay out of my iris beds....

My Az Ap roots were tiny & it took two years to get blooms.

Indashade-frost got the buds on some of the early Tbs, but the rest are magnificent! I could spend all day just looking at them...

Here is a peek at one bed. It will later bloom coreopsis, daylilies, phlox, clematis, Snapdragons, zinnias, Dianthanus & more. fun, huh?

Cedar Rapids, IA(Zone 5a)

Anahi--I give tours everyday to realtives, friends & neighbors who catch me outside. You're welcome anytime, girl! And I'll send you home with an armful of blooms.

My Sis in Law julie was over yesterday taking notes, photographing & videotape. I told her if she wants some after they bloom that she has to call them by name so I can find the darn things! Ha Ha Thank Goodness for garden stakes!

She's kinda light but I assume the colors will darken when the rhizomes mature. In the long run, she is pretty even if the name tag ends up being incorrect. =))

Here's a shot of one of my garden borders last week.
pins---Az Ap bloomed just one little bloom for me first year. This one is 3 years old.
Maxine-I was on a "peach" kick last spring & chased a few down. I think Peaches & Cream came from "Quail Hill Gardens" in South Carolina but I don't see it on his list this year. It just keeps blooming & blooming!

Wanda, you wouldn't have a fan of that Peaches and Cream, now that you have blown me out of the water!!!
Mine are just starting to bloom, TB that is. If and when the rain quits will run out and take pictures of some of them.

Peonies have buds on them but otherwise no blooms other that the tree peonies and fern leaf.
