I love my "Diablo" ninebark, so last fall, I thought that I would try layering a few of the lower branches. I checked one yesterday, and it has great roots forming. Yippee!! I'm so excited!

Thanks, Blooms.Yes, I used rooting hormone. I scraped the underside of the branches and dusted with rooting hormone. I then put a little soil over that area of the branch and weighted it down, with a rock. This is the first time that I have purposely rooted anything this way.Wow, it sure was easy...lol.
