Last summer, I took a cutting of my neighbor's honeysuckle and stuck it in a jar of plain old water - placed it in the kitchen window and it grew roots. According to the propagation book I have, that isn't a conventional method of propagating them, but it worked! In the fall, I planted it outdoors, and before it got too cold, covered it with pine needles. Today I uncovered it. It's a little weathered, but it survived! Here's a pic.
Honeysuckle Propped!
Congrates! Hope it continues to grow for you :-)
