where can I find that black tarrain cherry
The price at Ty Ty is the least of the problems with this company. Read the comments in the Garden Watchdog
The Black Tartarian is a relatively popular sweet cherry and should be pretty widely available. I know Miller offers it. Again look up some the more highly rated nurseries in the watchdog. I bet several of them offer this cultivar.
The following all carry 'Black Tartarian' trees:
Autumn Ridge: http://gardenwatchdog.com/c/3246/
Clifton's: http://gardenwatchdog.com/c/1819/
Chef's Garden: http://gardenwatchdog.com/c/20/
Bay Laurel: http://gardenwatchdog.com/c/72/
Miller: http://gardenwatchdog.com/c/429/
Greenwood: http://gardenwatchdog.com/c/1707/
Peaceful Valley Farm: http://gardenwatchdog.com/c/138/
Arbor Day: http://gardenwatchdog.com/c/91/
elyearcrazy, since I don't know where you live I tried to include companies from several areas of the country; hopefully one is nearby!
If this will help. There is a Ebay seller lees489 from TN that has the cherry tree you want for $9.00 plus $7.00 shipping. Seller states they are 2-3 ft., 2-3 yrs. old, bareroot. I've never ordered from this seller but they do have 100% pos. feedback. HTH's,
Gemila
