I am wondering how to root cuttings of this cute little plant. Do you use perlite w/rooting hormone in a ziploc baggie or do you use peat/perlite mix w/rooting hormone? I've never had much luck with rooting jasmine or gardenia.
Dwarf Vareigated Gardenia
Space,
I have rooted gardenias before but they were the regular type. I don't recall which variety they were but I do recall that they were easy to root. I imagine that your might work with the same approach. I stuck them in the rooting cubes with rooting hormone and kept them moist. After a couple of weeks they rooted. I believe it has to be the semi ripe wood. Good luck.
