Did anyone watch the programme tonight called 'A Cameraman's Story'? Those guys need medals for what they get up to.

was this a wildlife cameraman mark or a news cameraman of the sort that go out to Iraq? I think those guys need medals for bravery!!

Not last night Mark but I have seen one similar if not the same. Yes it is very sad. Too many of them have been killed, and killed by their own side at that, some of them !:((
Many cameramen of this sort not only put their lives in danger but also their homelives as many of them have broken marriages, all in the pursuit of the truth!! :(
I didn't see it , but I'm in agreement with Psilo, that though they are brave,I'm sure that they do it for the buzz.
Never mind about family and friends who are left at home worrying.
If and when I watch the news I'm not bothered if the pics are live from the 'action' or not,so if it doesn't matter to the normal punter, why should they put their lives at risk?
At the end before the credits rolled they showed all the journalists from around the world who have died in 'combat'
