I am pretty new to seed saving and am still trying to figure out a lot of things, I have been unable to figure out the seed pods for any of my asters asters and none of my usual resources on the web are able to help, so I am hoping someone here can. I have several varieties of aster but the one I would really like to get seeds from I just purchased its in bloom and I am trying to figure out where the seeds will be when they form. It is an (aster novae-anglia) It has really incredible color lipstick pink flowers and is considerably taller than my other asters. Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks Alice
Asters Where are the seed pods
When the flowers fade, they'll close up and develope into seed-heads like a little dandelions.
Thanks so much Agrinerd. I really appreciate the info.
