I went on vacation for 10 days, when I left I didn't have any zuchinni forming.. or so I thought. Look at this monster
that greated my return! I had no idea they could get so big! I gave it to the neighbor and cut up the normal size ones to eat.

They will get even bigger than that, like a watermellon only not quite as fat. However, those are the ones I miss seeing, I sure don't try to grow them that big. They get composted when they reach that monster size. The ones the size of yours can be sliced into rounds and fried as long as the skin is still tender. I dip them in beaten egg, then soda cracker crumbs, and fry them in a little oil, not deep fried. They are good with lemon juice on them or parmesan cheese. I can hardly wait for mine to be big enough, and yellow summer squash are even better than the zucchini.
