I can't find dave's info on softwood cuttings for crepe myrtles any info would be appreciated

i usually start mine from seed. lavanda has a post here called 37 shrubs that say they are easy so maybe ask her about this
I started some in Jul or early Aug from cuttings and they rooted very well. Put them in light potting soil with a baggie over them to keep the humidity in. They didn't take long to root.
just make sure the cutting isn't too soft.
Most of my problems with rooting them was that the shoot was too young, let it shoot out and harden a bit before cutting.
