I have got a row of these in the garden this year and they seem to be drilled with little tiny holes, I am sure it is some sort of critter. I have eaten some of the fruit and it is bitter, maybe I am eating green. When do I know they are ripe? Will they fill up the little husk and cause it to open when they are ripe? Do they need lots of water?
Tomatillos
Lenjo the ones I see in the market look like they are busting out of the husk, maybe that is how to tell ripeness?they are meaty, firm, not soft center like Maters
I would think they love watering like Maters, not sure what you may have eating them?have you tried dusting them with anything?
