Gooseberries

Grove City, OH(Zone 6a)

OK, OK, they are not trees, but they do produce fruit!

I have 2 varieties, and would dearly love to try a couple more. I have 'Welcome' and 'Hannomaki Red'. I have access to fruit from 'Pixwell' but it is not very good except for making preserves.

Anyone else grow them who would like to trade a couple plants? Or even seeds?

Uuummmm. Swap plants in the fall? I have two varieties, and a bunch of layered, fully rooted branches that need to come out. I am going to make another bed for my ribes, too! Gotta get a few more black current bushes going to try to get a decent crop. I have one that isn't at all productive.
