Hydrangeas - again...

but with a difference. Talk about luck, or whatever but for the first time my macrophyllas are producing flowers on new growth - amazing!!!!! However, they look more like the lacecap - very odd!!

I don't know what kind of hydrangeas I have but the blooms are just beautiful. The outside of bloom is white and toward the center they are a periwinkle blue. Not lavender, not blue blue, periwinkle LOL...I call it beautiful :-)

My Nikko Blue is just forming buds and they are also on new wood, I'm glad I'm not the only one who's seeing this strange event!!!

Well hurray, hurray!! Don't you just love them!!
