a new (again!! I hear you say) garden project

Antrim, Northern Ire, United Kingdom(Zone 8b)

this one is only a very small one compared to everything else.

I bought 10 single red Pelargoniums and 10 terracotta pots. These Pelargoniums now line either side of the gravel path between 2 of my raised beds. I did want them on top of the raised bed walls but they looked out of place.

thanks to Alan Titchmarsh for the idea except he puts his on his steps

sounds good Mark, I remember seeing a photo, somewhere in the med I think, of pels in pots going up steps.I'd loved to have steps to do that.

All red pelargoniums together I think look very striking but will they divert peoples attention away from the hgs :O!!

I have 2 garden projects of my own this year. One to create a prairie bed full of different grasses and Hardy geraniums. The second is to creat a garden full of tall plants. Plants that make you go wow, when viewed from 30 metres away! They will be on a very slight slope and will be viewed from below, giving the impression of even more height. any suggestions anyone?

prairie gardening is mentioned in the current Daily Telegraph gardening mag
