Guernsey Cream is one of my favorites too, but I didn't plant it in a good location. It is on the east side of my chicken house which is white, so he blooms don't show up too well. Guess I'll have to move it. I've been a life member of the American Clematis Soc. for 3 years. For people liking Clematis it is a good society. Donna

"rutholive" - It's probably best NOT to move your Clematis, if you don't have to. Clematis resent having their roots disturbed. Instead, try planting two darker colored Clematis on either side of "Guernsey Cream". The darker colors against your white chicken house will look great! Plus, it will make your "Guernsey Cream" Clematis stand out, thereby making a beautiful screen along your chicken coop.
