Humidity in a greenhouse?
tlc...I would think it depends on what you are growing and cultivatin inside it...there, for example are some orchids that require ooodles of it and then there are those, that don't! maybe you should ask some of the tropical growers...myself, my trops are grown with high humidity...I have a bed of fine gravel on the floor which I water well for the humidity...Elaine
What about for starting seedlings for spring. Seems that too much humidity could cause fungal problems. But some humidity would help delicate seedlings along.

i have been running a fan and that seems to be working. just gotta make sure they don't get dried out.
But do you know what % humidity is good?
i do not know that i am in the land of humidity lol. but when i walk i the greenhouse and it seems to dry to me i wet the pebble floor and water everyone who needs it. if i feel the moisture when i walk in, it seems everyone is happy. the fan keeps the circlulation so they aren't damping off.
So if humidity is too high there is more chance of damping off. That helps me.
Thanks

I have a book here that says plants like about 50% humidity in the greenhouse.
Oh, Thank you sky!
That gives me a good guideline! that is what I was looking for.
