Do you know this hydrangea?

Medford, NJ(Zone 6b)

Found this at the local grocery store. Seems to be a lacecap with double/triple white flowers. I have NO idea what it is. I've been looking on the net for days trying to find one similar. No luck. I was at the store when the shipment of plants came in, this was the only type in the shipment.

Yet another lucky find at the grocery store! Sorry, no clue, it doesn't look like any of the hardy varieties I've ever seen, but could be wrong. I wonder if there is a Hydrangea group somewhere (hydrangea geeks...) and maybe post the pic there. I'm very curious, it has the most well developed flowers I've seen.

I found one quite similar to this, after the blooms faded, I cut it back, and made cuttings from the trimmings I have hopes it will bloom again, and maybe the cuttings will root? I plan to repot the plant in a slightly bigger pot, and hope for the best. It was truly gorgeous, at its peak...I know that these things are greenhouse grown, and often they are on trick ponies, they are supposed to bloom, then be tossed, kind of like a bouquet of flowers...but nothing ventured, nothing gained right?

Hi datdog - Your hydrangea is either Hanabi or Trophy. Since the demise of the the hydrangea forum due to the lack of followers, I'm happy to see that interest in these beautiful shrubs is still very much alive. I have many links. Here are a couple of good sites showing the ones I mentioned above.
