OK,from what I've been told the tree peony needs 2 years to germinate, first cold, then warm ,then cold again.
If I pot the seeds up,throw them outside till ,say, mid January, bring them in the GH till, say ,the end of Febuary, then throw them back outside till spring, does that give enough time for the growing/germinating process?
Tree peony seeds
Mine came up the spring after they set on the plant, just left them outside potted and sunk in a plunge bench (just sink the pot in sand/gravel to save on watering etc)
That was P. delavayi - the red form
