I know very little about daylilies other than I think they are pretty but don't last long enough.

True, Honibee. Sure wish each flower lasted more than one day,would be useful for cut flower arranging. But, there are usually new ones each morning for a few weeks. Same with the hardy hibiscus and pardancanda, very short-lived flowers.
