"Hello to all my friends here at davesgarden! Thanks to the generosity of so many wonderful traders here, I have been able to enjoy a wide variety of seeds and plants.
My own interests include hybridizing most of the plants I grow, including Hemerocallis, Heuchera, Hibiscus and Hosta.
My favorite plant is the bigeneric hybrid, X Pardancanda norrisii, more commonly known as the candy lily. It was the product of a cross of Pardanthopsis and Belamcanda, first made successfully by Samuel N. Norris. There are endless variations in colors and patterns when grown from seed. I am selecting seeds for larger blooms and better colors in an attempt to popularize this little know and underused perennial.
