What variety? They look awsome.

I usually grow watermelons, but this year I put in winter squashes instead. I really miss my watermelons, but the Uchiki Kuri squash is delightful.

Variety is Royal Majesty. Also plant Sangria. Very closly related. Sold maybe 40 at market is afternoon. Cut about half of them. Lots of people can only handle a half or a quarter of a melon. We have samples too; that always sells a melon!
This picture doesn't show them very clear. The melons are very thick this year. Our rows are 12 feet apart. There is a melon about every 2 feet in the row!

Took some of the Sangrias to market today. DS had to sell them in quarters & then they would only fit in the half melon bags. They were around 40 lbs. Sold a bunch as the flavor is unbeleivable!
