Squash

Can anyone suggest some squash that are a bush variety for accorn, butternut etc. Do they even make such a thing? If so do they really stay in check?

Impiefish I don't know what you mean by in check but most bush varieties do stay close to home say 4x4.

Vermount Medley is a four type mixture summer type zucchini that I grew this year and will do so again.Once it starts setting squash it will go all season so much so that you friends will hide at the sight of your car.

A winter type squash that has very short vines three feet or so was bred for smaller gardens is Bush Delicata. This squash makes a single to double serving squash that is sweet, dry, and stores well.

There are also some squashes that you can grow on a trellis or fence if you are short on space.

I am new to this forum stuff but I have found my way to the plant data base and you can find all kinds of good information there at least I did when I looked up some tomatoes.

Hope you get this and it helps Regards Ernie
