was just wondering??? I try to change it once a week...seems a waste, because they never even drink any of it...I just keep re-filling...what's with that?
and now I haven't seen any for about a week...they were coming to my monarda and butterfly bushes.
how often do you change your nectar?
keep changing it, just don't fill it til they come. I have one right in front of the computer and they have emptied it in less than 48 hours.
In our hot climate,we need to change every 4 days.In Vancouver,I'd think once a week should be plenty.
In early spring,I only fill my feeders 1/4 full till they start empting it faster than 4 days, then I increase the amount till it's full.
that's what I meant, wasn't clear. don't fill it all the way and you aren't wasting much. Hope you have it in a convenient place!
I think I read that you are to change it once a week, I know the temps will change that when it's this hot, like melody said. how hot is it there now?
