H. quercifolia 'Snow Flake'

Western, PA(Zone 6a)

This is a 3 year old plant that finally found a place in the garden that suits it. I have moved it all around, morning sun and afternoon shade seem to work best.

It looks very happy and healthy. I especially love the double flowers. Please share with us another picture of it in the fall, when the leaves and flowers change color. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Hi golddog,

I have a question about your H. quercifolia 'Snow Flake'. Do you need to prune it back at all during the year? I have one that is kind of small and wondered if it would help to prune it.

What a great photo and a healthy looking shrub. It's obviously very happy with it's new location. By the way, I almost have two full videos of BBC Ground Force ready for you. I missed a good ten days of recording whilst I was away in Germany.
