SOLVED: Is this Wild Columbine?

Brown City, MI(Zone 5a)

Hello,
I know it would be easier to identify this if the flowers had opened, but maybe someone will recognize this plant.
Could it be a wild Columbine? We have a lot of it growing in our Woods.

It's hard to tell without it leafed out. I don't think it's a columbine but I'm not sure. I can tell the spotted leaves in the background are little trout lilies though. They have tiny yellow lily like flowers in late spring. They're also called Dog toothed violet or the Latin name is erythronium americanum.

it's blue cohosh, Caulophyllum thalictroides. It has an odd, rather small mauvish brown flower and blue berries in late summer. They are very attractive foliage plants.

No, this is definitely the cohosh - I have a bunch in the side yard at about the same stage.
