my friend gave me a bunch and said here plant these.....lol...ok but how deep, where, how long are they good for?...she said they were like the seeds or bulbs and would grow new spider lilly plants...they came from where the leaf and stem meet.....:)...tia

Just toss them on top of the ground, where you want them to grow, and water them. They often sprout ON THE PLANT so will sprout and grow quickly from just tossing them on bare ground. You might want to cover them with chicken wire, weighted down, as the mice and squirrels will eat them.
