You're probably right, Cedar - I hadn't noticed how some fo the leaves were bent over until I went back and took a closer look. Diginbloom how stiff are the leaves? Iris will have fairly stiff, sharp blades, daylilies will have softer leaves, and of course that can vary depending on variety.

Oh, wow! I hope they are Daylillies! (I don't think they are irises). They are planted all around the well house, there are probably 25 or more of them! Yeah! Julie (I'll post a pic when they bloom)

Nah, not amaryllis... leaves too small... looks more like the daylillies everyone else has suggested.
