Hi Ohioranic;
We used small ones last year for our cantolopes. The tunnel was about three feet high in the center and five or so wide, the bed was almost 20 feet long. These were raised bed in a wet area. We had the best cant. we have ever grown. Being up north our season is just not long enough. We will try some tomatoes and peppers in a couple this year too.
By the way where in Ohio are you located??? We're up near Lake Eire and the Pa border.

You had hoops-a High Tunnel you can walk in upright (that's why they are high)

I'm on the opposite of the state in the SW corner 6 miles from Indiana where it is very windy most of the time.

We do a lot of low hoops with row covers, plastic and this year we are trying out Tuffbel.

The tomatoes in the tunnel made it through 2 nights of temps in the mid 20's and are about readt to be tied to stakes and have flowers.
