...Holyhock. The first seed to sprout for me this year, 2 days after sowing in a peat pot. The first plant that has it's first baby leaves is a black-eyed susan vine. I don't have many seeds going this year (just one tray), but that's what's come up so far.
And the winner is...
Hmmm...nobody bothers my hollyhock except the bugs...and a lot of them too! I don't think I've ever seen bunny damage, but I may not know what it looks like either. I did see a baby bunny eating clover in the yard, just a few feet from the flower beds, so maybe they prefer that instead.
Mine's 10 week stocks in somewhere between 36 and 48 hours. Speedy little blighters!!
one tray i think i am up to 25 cell flats and have already tranplanted 3 been planting since the first week of feb.
I had daylilies come up in 4 days! Today, exactly 3 weeks after sowing, they are 6 to 8 inches tall. :)
