Does someone have any tips to germinate Diospyros virginiana and D. lotus seeds?
Diospyros
Evert - my Deno book says that diospyros virginiana is a 40-70 germinator... Plant them at 40ºF for 8-12 weeks and then move to 70ºF. Germination was 50-60% in 1-4 weeks. It also says that outdoor treatment was fatal. Treating with GA-3 will initiate germination directly at 70ºF.

hope that helps, Evert.
