Deciduous small tree with red berries

Many years ago, in Denmark, I had in my backyard a beautiful small deciduous tree about 6 ft tall and 6 ft wide. Fluffy branches.
In the early spring, it got red leaves.
Soon came red buds and the leaves changed to green. The flowers were white-pink. Later, the tree got small red berries, about 1/2" in diameter.
The fruit remained on the branches during most of the winter.
Thus, the tree was very interesting year round.
Now I really wish to get that tree in my yard.
Any suggestions?
