I originally thought it was black nightshade but considering the location it is most likely impatiens capensis aka jewelweed. Once introduced it will establish in large stands. Not uncommon along shady pond edges, streams and slow moving sections of the Hooch. Should bloom soon. I got seed from a friend but it didn't do well along my sunny pond banks.
