SOLVED: Growing in my herb garden?

Rome, GA

Can someone please identify this plant. It was growing in my mint garden. Is my mint still safe to make tea with since it come in contact with this plant? Thanks in advance for any help.

I'm more afraid of those alien blue gloves than of that innocent tree seedling you've killed.

That WAS an Ash seedling (Fraxinus sp.). Won't ever hurt your mint, but might haunt your dreams forever...

Thank you. I actually have an autoimmune disease so when picking tomatoes & okra, I have to wear gloves to prevent a reaction. I am sorry if my question in context to an unknown plant growing in my above ground garden & need for gloves offended you. I hope you do not have nightmares over it. But thank you for taking the time to answer!

I'm sure ViburnumValley was not offended, but joking.
