Trying to identify this maroon colored leaf shrub with these beautiful round puffy flower clusters. I’m thinking It’s a viburnum, But I can’t find anything online.
Is this a viburnum?
I think you posted pictures on a different forum, where I responded. Your plant is a maroon leaved selection of Physocarpus opulifolius - Eastern Ninebark.
Look at the leaf arrangement; you will find it has alternate arrangement of simple leaves. Viburnum species will always have opposite arrangement of simple leaves.
