I tried to post this in the ID forum, but get a blank screen on two computers, two different browers, so I'm thinking that there is an issue with the forum?
Anyway, please move this if need be and possible to the ID forum but here goes.
I am trying to identify this flowering bush. It's not much of a bush because it is growing with little vegetation up inside a large knockout rose bush. The flowers though are pretty large and impressive. The height at the top of the flowers is right about 6', and this plant is growing in NW Ohio. I'm wondering if this could be a Weigela? Whatever it is, maybe someone can identify it for me, and tell me what variety they think it is?
Thanks for any help you might be able to provide - LGR
ID this plant, Can\'t access the ID forum...
Since the blooms on my weigela are a little more cupped than those, I think they might actually be from a flowering crabapple.
My first thought was crabapple also.
